Capacity Category is a key which distinguishes the work centers by their category.
The work center category determines which data can be maintained in the master record for the work center can be defined in OP13.
In transaction OP13 or OPFA, the screen and field selection are set for each work center category. In transaction OP40 (Maintain Work Center Category)
