F-47 works like that. Either you don't give a PO or PO with item number. So technically, assign any PO item

In EhP4, you have a new business function called LOG_MM_something. Once you activate it, you can make DP at PO header level using ME2DP. It can also auto clear the DP once you do MIRO

See If you have this t code in your system. If not, speak to your IT Team and check if the business function can be activated in Sfw5
