Re: Consumption for next level

Hi,

The system behavior is explained in SAP note 919869:

...

Due to the design of the actual costing, the update and the revaluation of goods movements is carried out on the basis of summarized data. For the "Production" process category, different production orders are therefore linked to the same production process. The goods movements for orders that are attached to the same production process are then updated as summarized data in the actual update.

By default, the production process differentiates according to the characteristics

- Material, plant,

and - if a detailed controlling level is selected (transaction CKMLMV_CA) - according to one of the following characteristics combinations:

- Production plant/planning plant

- Production plant/planning plant/production version

- Production plant/planning plant/BOM/routing

...

So you can see valuation type is not a key character here.

If you would like to separate the actual BOMs by valuation types so they are not mixed together, you can refer to below SAP notes:

1051224 - Valuation type as characteristic in procurement process

1454058 - Process number when changing valuation type

Regards,

Sean
