Need help on BEx Customer Exit on 0FISCPER

Hi All,

I have a requirement that,

In my report there BEx variables for Fiscal Year Variant and Fiscal Year Period, and both are Ready For Input. Here, Fiscal Year Variant variable is Manual Entry and Fiscal Year Period is Customer Exit.

If user enters Fiscal Year Period and Fiscal Year Variant it should take the entered values,other wise based on the Fiscal Year Variant the Customer Exit code has to read a table values and pass to Fiscal Year Period Variable.

Challenges I am facing

1) I am not able to read Fiscal Year Variant value in I_Step 1 as its Manual Entry.

2) System is not able to find the Fiscal Year Period Variable in I_Step 2 as its Ready For Input.

Please help me if there is any other way of achieving this.
