I don't have access to that system anymore but I suggest you to check if all the host name entries are maintained with full domain names. As far as SSO ticket is concerned, maintaining the host name with complete domain name fixes the problem most of the times (however, this alone is not a guarantee to fix the problem)
What does the Connection test say on your system object?
