Error AA632 - Line item causes scrap value of 1.00 to be violated

Please may you assist.

Problem: We have recently activated EA-FIN i.e the new depreciation Calculation. My problem is that for fully depreciated Assets i.e book value equal zero (0) I cannot maintain a Scrap Value of ZAR1.00

I have first tried writing up Depreciation by ZAR1.00 then updating the asset in AS02 with ZAR1.00 I am unable to save in AS02 the error message returned is AA632 - Line item causes scrap value of      1.00 to be violated.

I have also tried writing up the APC value and then updating the asset in AS02, still cannot save with same error message AA632.

We do not maintain Cut-off, memo values or % scrap values.

Please may you assist dear friends.
