Here Fabian is right.Could you share sapgui.log from the location /home/fb/ & re-verify the platform as per PAM at http://sevice.sap.com/pam, on which you're trying to install the SAP GUI 7.40 java.

22.10. 18:56:56.082 ERROR: MicroLoader.loadResource(): I/O error while loading resource file:/home/fb/SAP/Linux-lib.jar: /home/fb/SAP/Linux-lib.jar (Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden)
